We started Social Sonar because we believe small business is more than the heart of our economy, it's a way of life we want to see thrive. In order to compete online with businesses with much larger budgets, we offer a team of social media experts at a fraction of the cost of a full-time employee or marketing firm.

Jon Kawa
Co-founder, Captain
Jon has contributed to several successful startups, including co-founding Analyte Health and building the technology and UX departments there. He was also a major architect and designer of TyMetrix 360, a workflow automation tool which aided the acquisition of TyMetrix for $50 million. He has a cat named Radar.
Alison Kawa
Co-founder, Account Management
Alison has worked with clients of all sizes, from sole proprietors to television networks and financial institutions, including HBO, CBS, Showtime, Charles Schwab, and The Body Shop. In her career at DoubleClick, Google, and Infogroup, she learned social media, email marketing, SEO, and web design from the people who are inventing the standards. She makes a mean flourless chocolate cake.
Wesley Gillis
Co-founder, Client Services
Wesley has helped clients with marketing for ten years, from individual entrepreneurs to Google, Microsoft and Toyota Denso. He once owned a retail store with his wife, and understands the challenges small businesses face. He lives with his wife, two Labrador retrievers and 16-year-old cat in Long Beach, California.
Jordan Bouvier
Co-founder, Software Engineer
Jordan has been programming since the age of 14. He sold his first startup, a hosting and design company, at 21. He has worked at Google and Analyte Health. He is proficient in Python, is a social media maven, and can be most easily reached by direct tweet.
Lori Myers
Director of Social Media
Lori has a passion for making new connections and growing small businesses from their earliest stages. She has developed far-reaching social engagement programs for a number of businesses in the San Francisco Bay area. As a super influencer online, she has nearly 1700 Facebook friends and 950+ Twitter followers.
